Our Model of Care

Clover Care Services understand that children’s early life experiences and exposure to trauma shape their internal working model and type of attachment, thus impacting on the child’s development.

Children and young people in the care of Clover Care Services, will receive care that is focussed on the individual requirements of each young person. Each centre provides a secure base through the relationships with staff who are sensitive and responsive attachment figures and trauma informed.

Trauma is a prevalent problem for children entering the care system. It results from exposure to a series of events that are emotionally disturbing or life-threatening with lasting adverse effects on the individual’s functioning and mental, physical, social, emotional, and/or spiritual well-being.
